Labels - Thermal Transfer Stock

Thermal transfer labels are normally the preferred method of printing variable information on demand. Almost any type of industry, manufacturing, retail or other types of business are required to have some version of barcode or identification label affixed to their products and/or packages. Usually, thermal transfer labels are produced on a 1" or 3" cardboard core for the appropriate printer that will be used to print the actual barcode. Label sizes can be configured to as narrow as 0.5" wide, to as long as 12" for specific print/identification markets.

Thermal transfer label printers require the use of a thermal transfer ribbon when printing. These types of labels are normally used when longer durations of time are required and/or exposure to heat and sunlight since they will not fade as rapidly as direct thermal labels.
