Edge Protectors / Cornerboard
Edge Protectors (as known as corner board, V-Board, or angle board) are comprised of an angle-shaped, cardboard material that is designed to improve stability, corner protection, and the stacking strength of a load or container. Edge Protectors can be sized to fit any load, and they help eliminate crushed edges. Edge protectors also aid in the event that the load may become pinched or crushed, due to the need of holding down the load with a metal or plastic banding (or strapping). They are available in varying thicknesses, lengths, or custom formulated. Tan/Kraft, white, or printed are available, plus all are reusable and recyclable.
They are used in a multitude of packaging applications; product edge protection between your strap assembly and sharp corner edges of your load; further stabilize and prevent load shift of stretch wrapped or strapped skids of products and boxes; assist with strengthening skid loads for warehouse double stacking; protection of your work-in-process during operations; and many more uses.
